Kraft: Get toxic phthalates out of mac and cheese

Dear Kraft Foods CEO Bernard Hess,

A recent study found phthalates, a hormone-disrupting chemical, in 29 of 30 cheese products tested, including 8 of the 9 Kraft products tested.

The study also found that the highest concentrations of phthalates were found in the processed cheese powder in those mac and cheese boxes. These phthalates can pose a special risk to pregnant women and small children.

Kraft has shown a commitment to improving the nutritional value and quality of its food products, especially when it comes to mac and cheese. Now, I'm asking you to eliminate any and all sources of phthalates from your products.

Sincerely,
